This position is within PAPE Engineering organization and will support the company’s objectives to expand its Offshore Engineering & Project Services to the upstream Oil & Gas Industry.
This position will be accountable for working closely with the Key Stakeholders to identify, create, investigate, evaluate, promote, develop new business opportunities.
Act as a focal point for understanding industry trends that could be leveraged into new business and competitive advantages. Communicate with customers, competitors, suppliers, professional organizations, or others to stay abreast of industry or business trends.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The principal accountabilities will include the following functions:
- Identifies, evaluates, develops, and secures new opportunities that support the organization’s business objectives.
- Develops, supports and forges key alliances and partnerships to secure new opportunities
- Analyses and understands the new market challenges and opportunities and value chains within the target markets (market size, growth, trends, competition, partners, alliances, customer needs, etc).
- Develop an understanding of the financial drivers and key operations at target opportunities
- Prepare and negotiate business terms for third party agreements and participate in the execution of such in conjunction with the responsible business and legal departments.
- Establish relationships with key decision makers at potential customers
- Manage development, registration, approval, issuance and related auditing processes with authorities, market participants and third-party auditors for new opportunities
- Forecast financial returns based on present and historical data
Quality Assurance
- Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to PAPE Engineering
Safety
- Responsible for personal safety, safe working conditions, understand and follow HSE procedures set by the company
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Degree/MBA in Business/Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of relevant strategic experience in the Oil & Gas industries
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, analytical and communication skills
- Proficient in English (writing and speaking)
- Excellent computer skills with Excel, PowerPoint and Word for data consolidation, analysis, presentation
- Strong knowledge of business concepts, practices and procedures
- A firm grasp of economics, financial analysis, market research and data analysis
- Successful track record of working with engineering
- Ability and flexibility to travel
